The Garden Club of Indiana
The State Board approved a
recommendation to have a 75 year history compiled and published to
acknowledge the celebrating of The Garden Club of Indiana, Inc.
anniversary. A committee was formed and, after much deliberation and
researching, a completed history has been edited and published.
This History is now available to all garden club members who are
interested in purchasing one. It is a booklet of 60 pages containing the
history, photos of past presidents, and pertinent information about
events and projects that have occurred all over the state. A booklet of
this nature will be a handy reference, a resource of ideas from the
past, and a record of interest to many. It would make a nice gift, a
booklet to become part of your club’s file, or a collection of welcome
memories.
The state Ways & Means Chairman, Linda Briar, will be bringing this
booklet to all of the district meetings. The booklets are being sold at
cost for $3.00. There are only 500 copies, so get yours soon! If you
cannot get to a meeting, contact your District Director about purchasing
this History of TGCI.
