Our speaker, Lynn Jenkins, believes that everyone can make a difference in nature, if we each do small things and work together toward larger efforts.  Her interest in sustainable living has expanded from simple recycling and wildlife gardening to encouraging others to appreciate nature and to do what each can to protect the environment.  She has gardened “forever” and tends wildlife gardens for birds, butterflies, and pollinators.  She is a Boone County Master Gardener, Habitat Steward Host for the National Wildlife Federation, publisher of Indiana Living Green Magazine, editor of Hoosier Organic Gardener, and a member of Garden Writers’ Association.

October is one of Indiana’s most beautiful months, so please set aside this day to learn more about sustaining our earth and to exchange ideas with friends from other clubs.
