MEMORIAL SERVICE:
A Memorial Service will be held for members who have passed away since the 2007 Annual Meeting.  Each Club President is asked to send in the names of those persons on the Registration Form where space is provided.

WAYS & MEANS:
Every club is responsible to contribute FIFTEEN DOLLARS CASH OR CHECK made out to North West District Treasurer.  Please send to District Treasurer, Linda Hoffman, 2205 Nondorf St. Dyer, IN 46311-1862.  This will help to defray some of the expenses.

Every Club is also responsible to donate new or gently used items.  Baked goods and home canned goods are welcomed.  All of your donations will be appreciated at the WAYS & MEANS TABLE.  Ways and Means is a big job and it is a District Project.  Theresa Pilarcik, will take charge with the help of a few Volunteer Friends.
Please mark the price on all items and bring them with you to the meeting.  Some one will help carry the heavy items.

REPORTS: 
Club Presidents are required to prepare (17) copies of their annual reports to the District Director by October 10, 2008.  This report should be typed, one-sided, double spaced.  Keep a copy for your records.  This report should consist of highlights of club activities.

District Chairmen:  Please document any correspondence with your State Chairman; also report efforts that you made to communicate information you found about your subjects.  Please send 12 copies of your report to the District Director by October 10, 2008.  Keep a copy.  This report should be typed, one sided and double  spaced.

DISTRICT SCRAPBOOK:
Please collect material for the scrapbook and send it to

CLUB DELEGATES:
Delegates are elected or appointed by their respective clubs.  No delegate may have more than one (1) vote, even it that delegate is qualified under another capacity.  Number of delegates from each Club is determined by Club membership.
            Up to 24 members...1 Delegate         50 + members ...3 Delegates
            25 to  49 members...2 Delegates
    In addition to Delegates, the voting body shall consist of :District Officers, Club Presidents, District Chairmen, State Life Members, and Scholarship patrons.

WE WOULD LIKE TO HAVE AS MANY MEMBERS AS POSSIBLE ATTEND THIS MEETING.  PLEASE CONSIDER CAR POOLING AND ARRANGING RIDES FOR YOUR MEMBERS WHO NO LONGER DRIVE.
