Good news for garden clubs, and especially for their Program Chairmen! National Garden Club’s newly renovated Lesson Plans (formerly “instantized Yearbook Plans”) are available from Member Services.

Lesson Plans are sets of programs, ideas and information for the whole year. Each set covers topics as varied as Soil Tonics, The Perils of Being Potted, Seldom Used Vines, In the Night Garden, Berries of Many Colors and more, each set is different! Design programs are included as well as entertaining extras such as a Christmas Quiz.

There are at least twenty programs in each set (sometimes more); each month has a program (with at least one alternate program, just in case the first isn’t suitable), plus a suggested roll call as well as horticulture or other exhibits for members to bring.

Ten sets are available from Headquarters. Check out the new Member Service Catalog for these  educational and entertaining programs for your garden club.

These newly offered Lesson Plans were done over a two-year period by Nell Denman, former State President of Texas and member of the NGC Board of Directors.
