MANSFIELD, OH BUS TRIP

Garden Tours and Garfield Park invite you to join them for a one day bus trip to Mansfield, OH, Saturday, October 11, 2008.
Our first stop will be Possum Run Greenhouse. This garden center is in a restored barn which contains a beautiful stone waterfall. There is also a rainbow bridge and Dutch glass greenhouse. They have plants for all seasons, gifts, home decorations and collectibles. We will have a tour with background history.

Our next stop will be Malabar Farm. This 914 acre estate was the home of Pulitzer Prize winning author Louis Bromfield. It was also the wedding site of movie stars Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall. There is also a visitors' center with interactive exhibits as well as Ohio made gifts and homemade fudge. We will tour the house and the farm by wagon.
We will serve a box lunch on the bus going oven and dinner will be at the Malabar Farm Restaurant. They feature all natural products from their own farm market.
The cost of the tour is $77.25 and includes bus transportation, all admissions, box lunch, dinner, gratuities and taxes. The bus will depart Garfield Park at 6:30 AM, Washington Square at 7:00 AM and Wal-Mart in Greenfield at 7:45 AM.
