Awards may be presented to a club, clubs or an individual for overall excellence in the following suggested conservation activities: a year’s program of conservation studies and activities; sponsoring a conservation club; educating an organized group in conservation; wise use of forest and land resources; air and water pollution study programs; any other related project a club may pursue.
Outstanding conservation work by an individual member could include: strong personal involvement in any of the above; educational or legislative activity in conservation; articles written and published on various phases of conservation.
NGC awards available: EC-1; EC-3.
Class A. Club or clubs for year’s program
Class B. Club or clubs promoting conservation among youth
Class C. Individual member for outstanding contribution to conservation
First, second and third place awards will be given in each class when merited.
Application form (see Award Rules) is to be sent to the State Conservation Chairman by December 1.
A committee of three (3) members, including the State Conservation Chairman, will judge the applications.
