Historic Preservation

This award may be presented to a club or clubs for outstanding work on an historic preservation project such as the restoration of a park, a building and/or garden of importance to the heritage of a particular locality. Good landscaping and/or architectural design to enhance the value and significance of the site will be a consideration. Photos of “before” and “after” restoration should accompany application.

Class A.  Restoration of grounds
Class B.  Restoration of an historic site (restoration of a building on its original grounds)
Class C.  Restoration of an historic area (restoration of more than one building on their original grounds)

NGC award available: HP-1.

First, second and third place awards will be given in each class when merited.  
Application form (see Award Rules) is to be sent to the State Historic Preservation Chairman by December 1. 
A committee of three (3) members, including the State Historic Preservation Chairman, will judge the applications.
