Litter and Recycling
Awards may be given to clubs for outstanding year’s work in litter prevention and recycling. This may mean waging a campaign by the club alone or engaging the interest of organized groups or individuals. This may also include prevention as well as cleaning existing unsightliness, educational or legislative activity and/or many other approaches.
In evaluation, credit is given to the publicity done through newspapers, TV/radio; to the survey made before the project is attempted; to the cooperation of related groups and to overall success of the project.
NGC award available: EC-2.
Class A. Best litter prevention project
Class B. Best recycling project
First, second and third place awards will be given when merited.
Application form (see Award Rules) is to be sent to the State Litter and Recycling Chairman by December 1.
A committee of three (3) members, including the State Litter and Recycling Chairman, will judge the applications.
